What to include in your job brief
- Measure the approximate area and explain how it will be used. Note slopes, existing concrete and the finish you prefer.
- Photograph the site and delivery access. Describe excavation or removal needs and any visible drainage features.
- Say whether plans or levels have been prepared and note your timing. Ask the concreter to determine the appropriate specification for the use.
An example brief
Replace a cracked garden path approximately 1 metre wide and 8 metres long. Photos show the existing path and access. Please include removal and a simple finished surface.
