What to include in your job brief
- Give the number of rooms, bathrooms and storeys. List the tasks required, such as oven cleaning, interior windows or carpet cleaning.
- Describe heavily soiled areas and add photos where useful. Say whether the property is furnished, empty or occupied.
- Explain access, parking, power and water availability. Include a handover deadline and any supplied cleaning checklist.
An example brief
An empty two-bedroom unit needs a one-off clean before handover. Include the oven and interior windows; carpet cleaning is a separate task to quote.
